Bayern Munich’s chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has told both Manchester United and Real Madrid to lay off their “hot property†winger Frank Ribery. This comes in the wake of club president Franz Beckenbauer’s claim that it may be difficult for the club to hang on to their star player for an indefinite period.
Both United and Real have shown more than just a keen interest in the Frenchman and it has been speculated that he could move from the Bundesliga side at the end of the 2008/9 season.
Rummenigge said that no amount of money would lure the player away from Bayern Munich.
He added that he is contracted with Bayern Munich until at least 2011.
